Hello fancy friends,
We all have that go-to hair style or go-to hair look. That one style that you can do the quickest and even with your eyes closed. This is my go-to hair look. It’s simple, easy AND one that will last me up to three days! Don’t judge!! I wear hair extensions so pushing my hair to the limits is what keeps me from visiting the hair dresser longer. Luckily for me, my hair dresser is my mom so I sure don’t mind visiting her, but it’s nice to be able to chat and spill the beans with her over coffee instead of over a hair salon chair! Don’t get me wrong, switching things up is always fun and I’m always up to it, but its always good to master a look that you can do in a blink of an eye and that won’t fail you. Oh, and it’s just a few steps. Here I used some tips I picked up from celebrity hair stylists Jet Rhys and Melissa Peverini.
Tools you’ll need:
L’oreal Paris Sleek It Heat Protectant: I spray this all over my hair damp and/or dry. This will protect your hair from heat damage and is a MUST!!! Loving this one because it doesn’t weigh your hair down.
Cricket Hair Comb: This comb is infused with keratin, leaving hair so shiny and ready to be styled!
Cricket Ultra Smooth Curling Iron: My favorite tool to use to create this look. This curling iron is infused with argan oil and keratin protein, leaving my hair soft, shiny and with a healthy glow.
L’oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hair Spray (Extra Strong Hold): This one is my absolute favorite. You can go hay wire, spray tons of this product and your hair will never stay with that crunchy feel allowing you to run your fingers through all night and the hold is phenominal.
Alfaparf Milano Serum: This is like liquid gold AHmazing! Smells so good, softens your hair without over moisturizing it!
***Grab your champagne/glass of wine and your tools and let’s get started!!
Step 1: Apply heat protectant spray from roots to ends. Proceed to comb hair once dry to prevent tangles and curling your hair with frizz.
Step 2: Divide hair into horizontal sections as many times as needed depending on hair thickness.
Step 3: Section hair into 1.5″ or 2″ sections. Using the curling iron, wrap sections of your hair backwards and away from your face. Start wrapping hair from the root and just before releasing hair, wrap the ends allowing the least heat as possible to ends to prevent excessive heat damage. Repeat process on both sides, always curling away from your face throughout your entire head.
Step 4: Once hair is done and has cooled down, comb through for looser waves. Lightly spray hair and apply serum or oil to finish the style.
And voila! Easy tousled loose wavy hair!
This look is easy, sexy and full of body and movement!
Hope you enjoyed it and if you recreate this look, please share pics with me!
XOXO,
