Hi friends! Miami swim week has officially wrapped up and the temps in Miami have really warmed up. It’s rare to find anyone out of the pool or beach, but on Sundays, Michael and I often go to the Downtown Miami area to either shop for essentials or visit our favorite Sunday guilty pleasure, Hooters. We love their wings and fried pickles. (Yes, it’s greasy, but don’t judge!) Our delicious lunch is usually followed with Haagen-Dazs ice cream. If we don’t take a trip there by car, we do it with the boat. This past Sunday, the weather was so nice that we decided to make a pit stop on our way and check out the bay area while “Penelope” visited the powder room, aka grass area; her nick name is “Fancy P”. To our surprise, we got to see a family of manatees (mom, dad and baby). They were just hanging out there, and excitingly, I got to share it with some of you via snapchat (@AFancyAffair). We were so struck by it, not because it was our first sighting of manatees (we see them all the time when we go out on the boat), but because we were really not expecting it. They seemed so sweet and we totally enjoyed the moment. For this day date I wore this cute off the shoulder dress, which I picked up from Lulu’s. It totally reminds me of my trip to Los Cabos a few years back. I paired it with these adorable mules from Target, my newest ToryBurch shoulder bag and my fedora hat from H&M, which I shared on a haul video a few weeks back.
On another note, where do you get some of your style inspo? Is it through our oh, so trusty Pinterest? I love all beauty, fashion and décor things. They make me happy, and even though I get inspired by everything around me, even movies. Sometimes it can be something as simple as the time of year that inspires you. Let me know where else you get inspirations from. I would love to hear from you!
