Paris is always a good idea!
How in the world did I end up in Paris?! In all honesty I didn’t have time to process the idea either. I was contacted 8 hours prior to leaving to the airport with an opportunity of a lifetime. You can only imagine how much I didn’t sleep that night. lol
If you follow along my adventures through snapchat (AFancyAffair) and my other social media platforms, this would be no news to you and you would already know that recently a dream of mine came true. I visited the most romantic, luxe, captivating, inspiring cities in the world- Paris, and now, I can scratch that off my bucket list. I was invited by the most renowned champagne house- Veuve Clicquot to become their brand ambassador (click here to visit my profile) and to experience a once in a lifetime fairytale. Seriously, It felt like I was reading a story book, but with my life in it. (crazy, huh?!) Let’s just say, happy hour was every hour on the hour.
I visited Reims (champagne city) and Paris, to not only learn more about the brand, but to live it- or should I say, to fall in love even more with the brand and their newest and most delicious champagne- Veuve Clicquot Rich. This is not your typical champagne. It’s a classic champagne with a modern twist. It’s a fresh, fun, innovative, invigorating bubbly that can be mixed with other luscious natural fruit or vegetable ingredients to create a cocktail that will blow your mind. First time in history that a champagne was created for mixolgy. So hip! So from now on refer to me as “Clicquologist Amanda Tur”…
Myself and other fashion and lifestyle bloggers from Australia and Miami were able to fully experience Paris and Reims by visiting key places and eating away at the finest restaurants- Millenaire and L’atelier d Joel Robuchon to name a few, and sipping champagne one location at a time. We had endless tastings and received top of the line treatments at the Hotel Du Marc and the Veuve Clicquot cellars. Press play below to get a sneak peek of my “Americana” room. This hotel is very exclusive and guests are by invitation only (fancy huh?).
A huge added bonus: We were able to tour the Louis Vuitton Foundation and rounded up the last night by having dinner at the Castel restaurant and danced the night away (literally, I went from the club, back to the Hotel Molitor, picked up my luggage and went straight to the airport). Party now, rest later!
I feel so honored to be able to represent such an amazing brand founded by Madame Clicquot- “The Grand Dame of Champagne”. What an amazing woman with such pride and such a risk taker. Her story was so touching and encouraging because she was not afraid to step out of the box and follow her dreams as she broke rules and became the first business woman in history.

So which one of the Veuve Clicquot mixed cocktail is my favorite? Cucumber- perfection for Miami endless summer days.
