This past Friday I hosted an early afternoon lunch at my home for some amazing ladies who also happen to be Miami fashion and lifestyle bloggers! They are legit y’all. The best part about being involved in the fashion and blogging community is being able to connect, meet and work alongside some amazing girls and cultivate great relationships with each one of them. As most of you know, I was so blessed last year with the opportunity to experience and travel to Paris with the Veuve Clicquot team, and as the new Miami brand ambassador I want to reminisce and re-live every second of that trip (see more of my trip to Paris here). So why not have some much needed girl time? I invited them over for an afternoon of sweet laughter, happiness and joy, with delicious tropical themed food, as we sipped on my favorite drink- Veuve Clicquot Rich and give them a glimpse of what it was like for me to be in Paris.
(See here the last party I hosted at home with Veuve Clicquot Rich)
Oh, how cute and fitting is this door bell, “press for champagne”? I wish this door bell was available everywhere, and of course, serving only the best champagne- Veuve Clicquot Rich with fresh cucumber, pineapple or mint and every other delicious flavor you can add to it. (It was a snapchat hit for all the ladies!). Click here for a quick video on how to make your own #richandfancy drink.
My sweet and dear friend, Florencia Valdes, owner of Something Sweet by Flo, makes the most exquisite cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and every heavenly sent goodness you could think of. She is the best baker in Miami and no design is a challenge for her. When I told her about this party, she was so excited to get baking and I was floored when she delivered the cake and the pineapple and flamingo cookies. She did an outstanding job and let me not even get started with how amazing it all tasted. The cake was coconut with pineapple filling and just incredibly delicious. Seriously! #FoodPorn 🙂 . The final touches, with fresh flowers, dwarf pineapples and a freshly chopped coconut were the perfect cherry on top. So Pinterest worthy baked goods!
By the way, my flower arrangements were a total last minute plan! I started off by removing the inside of the pineapples and added some Grenadin white carnations, then a few daisies and lastly some green fillers to finalize the tropical themed arrangements.
I set up a few bar carts in my apartment with some of my favorite fresh ingredients; cucumber, peppers, and mint. We also wanted to stay within the tropical theme, since Veuve Clicquot Carnaval is coming to Miami next weekend! Tickets are still available (purchase here) for those that want to spend the afternoon celebrating and sipping on the finest champagne! Check out using the “Carnaval50” promo coupon code for 50% off general admission tickets. #cheers #VCCarnaval
Special thanks to all my sweet friends for attending and spending the afternoon with me, and of course, thank you for stopping by and reading this post. Till next time!
