Oh my! It’s official. Summer is here!!! Yay… The excitement is real. I’m doing shimmies of excitement over here. I love the long summer days, all the fun outings, the boat rides and the list could go on for everrrrr, and I think you get the drift. The heat is on! I love it all and aside from all the fun things, I love all the street fashion during this season. Yes, swimsuits is all we want to wear when the high double digits and even triple digits kick in, but it takes legit talent to be able to look put together when underneath it all you’re overheating. The scarf trend is one trend that I was really skeptical about. Maybe because I think of one of my fave rappers, Tu Pac, but also because I had not found one that I loved, until I found this one at Koko & Palenki. It’s skinny, lightweight and so silky with a very breathable fabric and the print is just delicate, chic and very feminine- its totally me! When I saw it, it was a total game-changer. If you follow me on snap-chat and on IG, you probably spotted even Penelope wearing it. It’s that cute you guys! I decided to throw it on with this off-the-shoulder dress to add a cool element to what could have been a casual summer look.
