I love Bimini and all the blue waters that surround it. This tiny little island (8.8 miles to be exact) has our hearts and any chance we get to go back, we do! A tradition that Michael and I have when we go visit somewhere is to wake up early at least one day and chase the sunrise. That’s exactly what we did our first morning. I tried (well, I did) get some footage of the sun peeking out, but I can’t find it anywhere. Good news is that you can watch the rest of our day 1 & 2 on the video below.
This time around we were welcomed at the Hilton Resorts World Bimini and OH EM GEE! What a gorgeous hotel. It even has a lazy river that runs through one of the sides, which you can see from the room balcony. What a treat! To watch the sunrise we didn’t even have to go too far. We picked up some delicious coffee and watched it right off of their main lobby back deck by the bay area. The staff at the hotel are so great. They are always so happy, attentive and so kind making our trip that much more special. We made so many new friends there and they made sure we felt right at home. So catch up on day 1 & 2 of my trip & adventures by watching my video, and read on as I brake down my outfits for day 1 and 2, and share what I wore during this trip. Stay tuned for Day 3 & 4.
First things first, once we arrived at the hotel we wanted to explore the resort grounds a bit so obviously that means go straight to the pool.
To catch the sunrise I wore this gorgeous pom pom meets tassel crochet cover-up and stunning one piece bathing suit, both from Eberjey.
Once the sun was showing off completely, we went back to the room to full up with breakfast-in-bed and get ready for the fun day ahead. Prior to that, we ran back down again to drink some more of their delicious coffee and just lounge a bit in the main lobby couch. I wore the most comfortable Pitusa cover up. Every time I make my way to Bimini I always make sure to snag one of their cover-up. The last time I picked up a white one with colorful pom pom trimming, but this time I decided to get a black off-the-shoulder with the bell sleeves. Isn’t is so cute and fun? These cover-ups are so comfortable and just amazing.
Off we go to our first excursion – the Sapona Shipwreck for some snorkeling fun! Well, as you may have seen in my video, I did not do much of snorkeling, but still had a marvelous time tanning on the boat. I wore my favorite LSpace swimsuit from All Wet Beach Wear and a white Maruchi cover-up. This is the same outfit I was wearing to exploring the island on our way back from visiting the best conch stand and charlie’s bread. Both are a must try when you visit Bimini.
Thanks for stoping by guys and till next time!
