Hey friends! As Macy’s brand ambassador and as promised, here are all the fun things happening at the Macy’s store in Dadeland Mall this month! If you’re a foodie like me, you will love the first two events, but make sure to come see me on December 16th (last event).

Tomorrow, December 9th at 1pm there’s a really cool kids cooking class. We all want our kids to wake us up on a Saturday morning with the sweet words “breakfast is served” instead of them waking us up at 7am to make them breakfast, right? So run, don’t walk, and join the very own Macy’s Culinary Council, Chef Stephanie Izard, as we celebrate Believe Day and as she teaches us how to prepare some of her favorite kid-friendly dishes for the holidays. The best part? There will be plenty of food and drinks to enjoy, as well as live caroling by participating choirs of the Merrick Festival Caroling Competition! While at the store, feel free to explore the latest in cookware and gadgets for your kitchen and with any purchase of $35 or more in the Home department, receive a special gift bag filled with goodies, a chance to meet Chef Izard and take a photo with her.

*For this event, space is limited, please RSVP to reserve your seat to participate.

Have you ever wondered what celebrities eat on a daily? Now it’s your chance to not only learn from one, but taste it. Saturday, December 10th at 4pm there’s a cooking demo with home cook and celebrity chef J. Santiago who was able to make a career out of her true passion in life. Chef J. Santiago has worked with Kyrie Irving, Kevin Hart, Floyd Mayweather and Fabolous, just to name a few. Come out and experience a few unique dishes that have made Chef J. Santiago a staple in the entertainment industry.

Lastly, the annual Ugly Sweater Party, next Friday on December 16th at 6pm!!! Yes, partyyyyy. I’m so excited for this event and not just because I will be there partying it up with you all, but I got a really cute sweater to wear (pictured above). Actually, I got two. A girl needs options! #DontJudge They are both really cute “ugly” sweaters and I couldn’t decide on which one I loved more, so I got both. If you don’t have access to your grandma’s closet, not to worry. Macy’s has a huge collection of really cute “Ugly” sweaters, so pick yours out and join me. The best part and what I’m most excited about is that I’ll get to meet you, and the first 20 people to come and say hello to me at the event will receive a $20 Macy’s gift card! So make sure to come early! Bring your cameras so we can take a few selfies in our ugly sweaters.
