{ Let’s Get Fit with YouFit }

Hey friends!

Staying fit is so hard and staying focused is even harder!! Trust me, I know! I started the year with a really cool vision board and planned on getting sweaty at the gym on the daily or at least 5 times a week. I’m lucky if I’ve made it in there 3 times a week. Getting so real with you, Michael has to bribe me sometimes to get me to join him to a gym sesh. I cry, I  kick, I hide under my bed sheets and find millions of excuses not to go to the gym. Well the excuses are running out. It’s such a struggle for me because I see these girls after having 2-3 kids with beautiful fit bodies, and if anyone should have permissible excuses, it should be them. So as a girl from Vegas told me, I need to change things up. I want to look good, feel good and walk around with a proud body. Summer bodies are made in winter so tis the season.  Today, I’m partnering up with YouFit Health Clubs to encourage you to join me on this journey! I hope you can join me and in 3 months we can check back in to see where we are. Will you join? YouFit Health Clubs is joining in on the journey and giving 6 lucky readers/followers a six month membership, so that together, we can work toward “A better you.” It’s a new year, let’s be a new us.

Change doesn’t happen without habit, and habits aren’t formed overnight. I’d love your participation in the Resist the Resolution Challenge. Let’s work together and encourage one another to not only continue to prioritize health and fitness in the new year, but to adopt habits that keep the target in sight months later.

So to enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below and let us know why you should win a 6 month membership to YouFit Health Clubs. Read More…

I love setting goals for myself and trying the whole30 or January detox challenge and using these sort of short goals to give me a boost. But more than that, I use these goals to motivate myself to get back to the gym and to kick start a lifestyle change. If not, sorry to break it to you, but once we are done with these challenges, they will have done nothing to us, but maybe shed a few pounds which will be gained right back once we start eating what we usually eat. I’m a true believer that more than setting goals,  you have to set for a lifestyle change. Start small. No need to starve yourself for days, but change small things that can turn into a habit. Did you know that it takes only 21 days to create a habit? So do that instead.

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.

Maybe you enjoy eating chips with your sandwich, switch it for fruits instead.  Then move on to switching coke for water and so on.  You will see more dramatic changes in the long run. The day that you really want to eat chips, go for it, but the next day go back to fruits instead. You’re not made to be perfect, you’re made to be you #PerfectNever Read More…
