Hello all,

Excuse me if all I want to do is twirl  in this look all day (with my pink hair)! I’m just that excited about this ensemble and couldn’t wait to share it with you. It’s one of my recent favorites, thanks to this gorgeous and flattering skirt. It’s so dreamy and designed to flatter with a tight waist. My favorite part is the flowy ball gown cut that’ll flutter with you every step. I feel like a modernized Disney princess, maybe because I’m also rocking pink hair. If you follow me on snapchat and on my other social media platforms (afancyaffair) , you saw the transformation, but if not, here it is! I’m that pink hair girl.  I told you guys the feeling of dying my hair was brewing and I finally took the plunge, put on my big girl pants, called my momma (aka, my hairdresser) and did it. I removed my long locks and went for a shorter do so it wouldn’t be that shocking. Who am I kidding? It’s shocking!! I shock myself every morning when I look in the mirror and the pink bed head is out of control cray cray. Update… I washed it once after these photos and it’s almost faded away. Still not sure if I’m going to do it again. I might just wait till I return from NYC in a few weeks. By the way, who’s going to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Rose Garden party? I will be there and would love to meet and rose with you all day! Read More…

Hello there!

Happy Sunday

The season is changing and we are slowly shifting into Fall. In Miami, this progression can be very tricky. Why? Because it’s still wayyyy too hot and reality is that we probably won’t feel the Fall and Winter cool weather till the last weeks of January. Miami weather = endless summer days = BLISS! That’s what makes Miami #PARADISE. So to all my trend lovers and trendsetters, let the transitioning to Fall challenge begin.  It’s hot, but we can’t help the desire to wear the darker hues, booties, rich jewel tones, jackets, hats, suede dresses, closed toed shoes and the list could go on forever…. Thankfully many designers transformed their prints into more mysterious, sultry and dark tones in our favorite pieces. The romper trend in the perfect example. It’s no secret that my love for rompers has gone strong all year. I’ve been wearing them nonstop since last Spring, so when Boston Proper sent me this gorgeous dark bloom romper beauty, I didn’t hesitate to style it right away for an afternoon outing. It definitely sustained my desire to shift my wardrobe into Fall and the idea of adding these lace up ballerinas worked great, adding the perfect transition to my Fall look. This dark bloom look, in particular, translates the trend beautifully for Fall and can be worn multiple ways, by simply adding booties, a hat, different jackets to keep your look fresh, more dramatic and fierce every time.

Don’t put away all of your summer clothes just yet. Go through your wardrobe and see if you can add key Fall pieces.

Have you started to transition to Fall? What’s the most exciting trend you’re looking forward to? Read More…

A few weeks back, Geri and I were invited {by one of our FAV. store to shop on Lincoln Road mall in Miami Beach} French Connection to attend a summer kick-off brunch party. If you follow AFancyAffair on Instagram than you saw how adorable and delicious the #fcladieswhobrunch was. We were accompanied by some amazing Floridian bloggers and we had a great time. Even though, this gorgeous skirt was not what I wore to the brunch, both looks were very similar, they have a very delicate, light and ethereal feel. If you are looking for something similar to add to your summer wardrobe, than check out French Connection’s 60% off sale for some great summer finds!
